Overview
Kardamena may not attract the big name DJ's like some of its neighbouring islands, but thousands of years ago in ancient Greek times one man caused an almighty rumpus in Kos. He went by the name of Hercules. So who better to follow in the footsteps of!
Where do we start with Kardamena? First of all you will never be bored of new places to go, at our last count there were knocking on almost a whopping 100 bars and pubs, this is the ultimate nightlife queen of Kos Island, with something simply for everyone, except maybe classical music fans. Most bars here offer sports coverage on big screens, live entertainment, karaoke, bingo, quizzes and more with a wide variety of music banging out all day, anything from loud dance tunes to chill out music, most on a picturesque beach front location. Although there are a dozen or so nightclubs here there are four main clubs each playing a different kind of music, from cheese at Downtown to the big one in Kardamena; Starlight's, where anything goes all season long. Starlight's is one of the few clubs in Kardamena that charges an entrance fee - but it's only a couple of Euros and anyway, the fee is deducted off your first drink.

Beaches
There are two beaches in Kardamena either side of the bay with all kinds of watersports available, from jet skiing to ringo rides, and the usual mix of bars on the beach front. However do be aware if you're not careful you could end up strolling on to the nearby nudist beach.
